HNS Partners Welcomes New Team Members

HNS Partners is pleased to announce the addition of Sam Stevens and Rachel Cranley to its team. As HNS continues to grow and deepen its capabilities, Sam and Rachel bring valuable experience, insight, and momentum that will allow the firm to better serve its clients and partners.

Sam Stevens joins the firm as a senior member of the transaction team. In this role, Sam leads deal execution, manages due diligence processes and supports negotiation and transaction structuring efforts. He also focuses on developing and maintaining relationships with business owners, executives, and strategic investors.

Sam brings diverse experience, ranging across industries, to the HNS team. He began his career at Harris Williams in Richmond, VA, advising clients in the Energy, Power, and Infrastructure sectors. He then joined Pamlico Capital in Charlotte, NC, where he focused on buyout and growth equity investments in the Software and Healthcare industries. Most recently, he led M&A efforts for Southeast Mechanical, a private equity-backed HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services platform. Sam graduated from Vanderbilt University with a degree in Economics.

Rachel Cranley joins the firm as an Investment Banking Analyst Intern. She supports ongoing M&A transactions by building and maintaining financial models, conducting industry research, analyzing business performance, and assisting in the due diligence processes. Rachel also supports the team in assessing new opportunities and evaluating potential client fit.

Before joining HNS, Rachel interned at Vulcan Value Partners, a $10 billion AUM equity investment firm, where she worked on equity research and ESG reporting to support investment decisions. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at Tufts University, where she has been named to the Dean’s List every semester and competes on the Tufts Women’s Tennis Team.

“An integral part of our culture at HNS is the recruitment and development of talented individuals who can help us continue to provide best-in-class service to our clients,” said Perry Still, a Managing Partner of HNS. “Sam is an accomplished banker and investor with a diverse range of professional experience. Rachel’s track record of academic and athletic excellence has carried over to her outstanding professional performance. Both Sam and Rachel are already providing meaningful contributions to HNS.”
