BUY-SIDE MERGERS & ACQUISITIONS
We help buyers identify acquisition targets and support the acquisition process. Our services include identifying potential acquisition targets, providing valuation analyses and structuring deal terms of a proposed acquisition. We also assist in securing, negotiating, and closing the acquisition. We have deep experience in buy-side roll-up mandates.
Our team provides comprehensive transaction advisory services every step of the way. It starts with identifying the appropriate capital structure and capital sources to introducing strategic partners and continues through to the close of the transaction. Whether your business needs growth capital, working capital, debt restructuring, management buyouts or equity investors from minority to control to full buyout, we have the expertise to structure the right capital need for each situation.
Laney has spent the bulk of his career in investment banking and corporate finance and is actively involved in all phases of the transaction process. He has experience advising middle-market companies on buy-side and sell-side mergers, acquisitions, recapitalizations, growth equity financings and other strategic alternatives.
Laney graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and received his MBA from the University of Alabama.
Laney holds FINRA Series 79 and 63 licenses.
Perry is a seasoned financial professional with over 16 years of investment banking experience. He has completed transactions with an aggregate transaction value of over $5 billion. Perry represents clients across a range of industries and strongly believes that the key to a successful transaction is understanding objectives on the front end and working tirelessly to exceed expectations.
A Birmingham native, Perry received his BA from the University of Virginia and his MBA from Vanderbilt University. Prior to founding HNS Partners, he worked for Bank of America's Global Corporate & Investment Banking group (formerly Banc of America Securities) in its San Francisco office and also for a southeastern-based boutique middle market investment bank. He holds FINRA Series 79 and 3 licenses.
Outside of the office, Perry enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons.
DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Parker has spent the majority of his career advising middle market companies on their insurance and risk management needs. Most recently, he was a producer at a prominent private brokerage based in Dallas. Parker gained an interest in investment banking through his experience working with business owners throughout Texas and the southeast.
Parker was born and raised in Birmingham and graduated from the University of Alabama with degrees in Business Management & Marketing with a specialization in Professional Sales. He is a member of the Committee for the Future of Children’s Hospital and the Monday Morning Quarterback Club.
In his role as Director of Business Development, Parker spearheads the firm’s marketing and business development efforts.
